Terrorist Takedown 2 is a video game that allows you to play the role of a soldier, who must break through thick enemy lines in order to rescue hostages, defend objectives or achieve various other purposes, all while terrorists are constantly hunting him. Obviously, there are some improvements to both components, but they are mainly the same ones seen in F.E.A.R..
The good part is that the shootouts are just as exciting, except for the fact that there is no more bullet-time to get you out of sticky situations. Other than that, things get pretty hectic in battle, with rubble flying all over the place, bullet holes, destructible objects and very convincing rag doll effects, which give the game an extra sense of realism.
A challenging adventure around the world
In the end, even if Terrorist Takedown 2 is basically a F.E.A.R. remake without the futuristic theme and the horror elements, the fact remains that the gameplay mechanics are absolutely brilliant and they work in a variety of situations, this being one of the most enjoyable representations.
